Diocesan appointments in the Diocese of Ferns

The Bishop of Ferns, Dr Denis Brennan,  has made the following clerical changes, effective on the weekend 13th/14th February 2021.

 

1. Fr. John O’ Reilly’s request to retire as Parish Priest of Piercestown on health grounds has been accepted. 
2. Fr. Aodhan Marken (ADM Wexford) to be PP Piercestown.
3. Fr. Billy Swan (CC St. Aidan’s Cathedral) to be ADM Wexford.
4. Fr. Jim Doyle (CC Mulrankin) to be CC at St Aidan’s Cathedral, Enniscorthy. 
5. Fr. Chris Hayden, currently on sabbatical, to undertake the role of chaplain and part time lecturer at Providence University, (Great Falls, Montana, U.S.) for one year, commencing September 2021.
