International Award for Our Lady’s Island

Our Lady’s Island has been chosen as “Shrine of the Year” by worldpriest.com in the wake of its participation in the Annual Global Rosary Relay, which took place on Friday 27th June 2014. Chosen as “Shrine of the Year”, from 60 participants worldwide, the award, will be presented at the end of this year’s pilgrimage which takes place at 7pm (Mass), this Monday 8th September 2014. Previous winners of this award are The National Shrine of Our Lady, Lecovia, Slovakia (2013) and Basilica of the National Shrine of Mary, Queen of the Universe Orlando, Florida.
