As we prepare to welcome back the staff and pupils to our parish schools for the new academic year, a novel initiative that has been successful in other dioceses is being held in the Diocese of Ferns. – School Bag Blessing Mass. We ask that children bring their schoolbags to Mass on the weekend of 10th and 11th September to have them blessed for the new school year.
