In a celebration of 100 years since the Virgin Mary appeared to three children in the Portugese village, the three-foot-high statue started its journey in Armagh. On Tuesday 14th March, it visited the Diocese of Ferns beginning with Mass at St. Senan’s Church followed by a procession to St. Aidan’s Cathedral where it remained until Mass later that evening which was celebrated by Bishop Brennan.
