A large crowd gathered in Ferns on Saturday November 8th to celebrate the Jubilee of the Word of God, as part of the ongoing celebrations to mark the Jubilee Year – Pilgrims of Hope
The celebration was organised by the Flames of Hope scripture group. Dr Jesse Rogers (Chair of Scripture in Maynooth) gave the key note address Nourishing a lifelong friendship with Jesus and pupils from Bunscoil Loreto in Gorey dramatised the Story of Zacchaeus. Young people and the young at heart shared their experience of faith and scripture in their life.
